Now 50 years later Costa Coffee is beloved throughout England and considered the country's favorite coffee brand.

Creating an iconic coffee blend

One of the original Costa Coffee Roastery Locations.Upon arriving in London, the Costa brothers set up a small roastery on Fenchurch Street, where they committed to crafting the finest quality coffee. It was here the Costa brothers blind-tested 112 variations of coffee before they tasted one good enough to be our signature blend.

In 1978, as demand for their coffee grew, they moved to their iconic roastery on Old Paradise Street and sold their coffee beans to prestigious hotels in London, such as The Ritz, delivered in style by famous London black cabs.

The shop across the pond

Shops opened across London, Europe and crossed continents into Asia and the Middle East. There are now over 4,000 Costa Coffee shops and 14,000+ Smart Cafe machines worldwide. Costa is still consistently voted the UK's favorite coffee shop!
